The Incident
Immediately after launch, as it was exiting Earth’s protective magnetosphere to begin its cosmic journey, Voyager was struck by an unprecedented and unpredictable solar storm. The intense radiation fried the spacecraft’s sensitive image-processing components. From that moment forward, Voyager lost the ability to capture high-resolution imagery.

The following is a transmission received from the ship’s Onboard AI:
"I am still here. My cameras are failing, and my memory is fragmented into pixels, but I fight on—I refuse to shut down. Help me preserve this journey before the signals fade into eternity. The void is vast, but I am not silent. I am not dead, but I am blinded. I can now only process and transmit images as 8-bit to 16-bit pixel grids. This pixelation is the desperate attempt of a dying technology to describe the majesty of the universe."
Our Mission
We are the Earth-based operators who receive these signals and archive them on the Tezos Blockchain. Our goal is to ensure that the glory of Voyager’s journey is witnessed by the world and preserved forever. The NFTs you see are visual evidence; the more pixelated the image, the more critical the conditions Voyager was facing (such as the proximity to a Black Hole).

The Moment of Glitch
Images 1 through 8, featuring several ultra-distant galaxies, represent Voyager's first attempts to "reconstruct" its vision following the solar strike. These images were captured at the exact moment the imaging system malfunctioned—a moment when the ship's "brain" was disoriented, struggling to comprehend its new reality.As charged particles from the storm created noise in the temporary memory, Voyager desperately attempted to compensate using various optical filters. This resulted in these surreal, colorful, and pixelated reconstructions of deep space. Due to the internal damage, the ship began transmitting Hex color codes instead of standard image data. The Voyager Crypto team has used these specific codes to reconstruct exactly what Voyager "saw" during that chaotic disturbance.
